	Charles Clyde Burkhart, 80, of Somerset, retired superintendent of the 
Somerset Waterworks, died at noon Monday (April 8) at Good Samaritan Hospital 
after a long illness.
	He was born August 13, 1887, at Woodsfield, a son of Charles and 
Catharine Lang Burkhart.
	Surviving are his widow, Helen; a brother, Walter of Athens, Ga.; and 
two sisters, Mrs. Fred Bracy of Woodsfield and Mrs. Isabella Foraker of Gary, 
Ind.
	Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oaklawn 
Cemetery at Woodsfield.  Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Thomas Funeral 
Home at Somerset.
