MARRIAGE RECORD

PARTIES:  Robert Grant and Elizabeth Affolter
LICENSE issued the 15th day of Oct. A.D. 1877, to the above named parties.
(The signature here is illegible).

AFFIDAVIT:  THE STATE OF OHIO, Monroe County, ss.  Robert Grant, having made
application for a LICENSE, for himself and Elizabeth Affolter, and being duly
sworn, says that he is of the age twenty-one years, and has no wife living, and
that Elizabeth Affolter is of the age of eighteen years, a resident of said
County, and has no husband living, and that said parties are not nearer kin than
second cousins, and are both of the same color.

Sworn to and Subscribed before me, this 15th day of Oct. A.D. 1877

(Signature of) Probate Judge.  (Signature is illegible.  Surname is possibly
"Morris")

RETURN:  The State of Ohio, Monroe County, ss.
On the 29th day of October A.D. 1877, I solemnized the marriage of Robert Grant
with Elizabeth Affolter.
