Southeast quarter of Section 35, Jackson Township, 
Montgomery County, Ohio 
1000' West of Venus Road-quarter mile north of Manning 
Road near the center of Section 35.  Possibly the oldest 
graveyard in German/Jackson Twp.  On private property.

Additional Comments:
The first known burial in this graveyard is that of Gabriel Swihart in 1804.  
All records indicate he was killed by a group of Indians along the O'wan'shee 
Creek (Little Twin creek).  I have not found a cemetery in German or Jackson 
Townships that are as old as this.  This is the first burial site in German 
Township as Jackson didn't become a township until much later.
