William L. Pearson

Pearson, William L., age 62, of Huber Heights, passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 
1985 at the VA Medical Center. Bill was born in Dayton, 29 Oct. 1922. 
Retired from WPAFB, a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 
served in the US Navy during WWII, a life member of the Hubert Hts. 
Memorial VFW Post #3283. Was Post Commander of the VFW 1976-1977, Post 
Quarter Master for 12 years, Service Officer, 2 years, life member & Post 
Seam Squirrel of M.O.C.P.T. #72, a member of the Hubert Hts. M.O.C.P.T. 
#83, 5 years, was Deputy Representative for V.A.V.S. of VFW at Dayton VAMC 
for 5 years, was VAVS Representative M.O.C. Grand of Ohio 5 years, serving
at Dayton VA Medical Center, past VFW 3rd. District Adjutant 10 years, past 
Montgomery Co. Council VFW Commander 1974-1975. Also a member of the 
American Legion Post #200 and 40-8 Voiture #34 of Huber Hts. Survived by 
his wife, Cleo M.; 3 daughters & sons-in-law, Sandra P. Clark, Billie L. 
Jeffries, both of Huber Hts., Barbara A. & Daniel A. Lewis of Dayton; 
2 sons & daughter-in-law, Robert E. & Cheryl of Choctaw, Ok., John T. of 
Dayton; 4 grandchildren, Robbie & Vickie Jeffries, & Scott & Steven Clark;
1 sister & brother-in-law, Mary J. & Sylvester Puterbaugh of Dayton; many 
other relatives & friends. Funeral services 10:30 A.M. Thursday at the 
George C. Martin Funeral Home, Northridge Chapel, 5040 Frederick Pk. Rev. 
Gary Warden officiating. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. The family 
will receive friends 5-9 P.M. Wednesday at the Northridge Chapel. VFW 
services 8 P.M. Wednesday followed by a Cooties Service.
