Pearson, 62, who died at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, at residence, 2208 Seventh Avenue, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Friday at the Christian Church in Osgood, Ohio. Burial will be in Yorkshire Cemetery. The body may be viewed at the Smith & Riesinger Funeral Home on Salem Avenue until 8:30 A.M. Friday. He leaves his widow, Catherine; four daughters, Mrs. Florence Adams, Mrs. Orpha Newmaw, Mrs. Rachel Nadosky and Miss Mildred Pearson; eight sons, Bernard, Ralph, Homer, Thomas, Glen, James, Milo and Walter Pearson, and one sister, Mrs. Ada Becker. ----- (note: Middle name of John was Kenneth, not G.) John Kenneth Pearson, married Catherine D. Boyd on 27 May 1899, Darke Co., Ohio, by Rev. W.H.H. Tate. Issued 17 children; raised 12 to adulthood. John & Catherine lived in Darke & Mont. Counties. Marriage John Pearson b. Miami County, Ohio. age: 27 years on 15 Nov. 1898. residence: Osgood, Ohio. Occupation: Laborer Parents: A.M. Pearson & Margaret Brandon. To: Catherine D. Boyd b. Mercer Co., Ohio. age: 18 years on 10 Dec. 1899. Parents: Jacob W. Boyd & Margaret E. Shaeffer. Marriage took place on 27 May 1899, Pikeville, Ohio. by: Rev. W.H.H. Tate. Catherine D. Boyd's sister, Nellie S. Boyd, married John's brother, James E. Pearson on 3 July 1898, Osgood, Ohio. Children of John & Catherine Pearson: Florence, Orpha E., Bernard L., Ralph A., Sylvia, Rachel, Homer, Thomas, Glenn, Aubrey, James, Milo, lived to adulthood.
