Emmanuel Catholic Church, Dayton, Ohio, 1-10-1855

George B Bauer & Maria Angelica Schmackers, both recently of Germany were 
married in the Emmanuel Catholic Church in Dayton, Ohio. Witnesses were: 
Gerhard Henry & Margaret Schmackers.

Additional Comments:
Maria "Ongler" arrived in Dec. 1853, in Slaughterhouse Point New Orleans on the 
ship New England. She left Bremerhaven in Oct. May have been born near 
Hannover, Ger. George B born in Hannover, Ger. and left via Amsterdam to 
Philadelphia, Pa. abt 1854, possibly on the ship Columbia.
