A. WAREHAM, David A. Montgomery County Ohio Probate Court Case #1937 Will of John Kinsey, Montgomery County, Ohio, 24 Feb 1846, will book D, page 307 In the name of God. I John Kinsey of the county of Montgomery in the state of Ohio do make and publish this my last will and testament. First. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Anna in Lieu of Dower, two beds, two cows, six chairs and a sufficiency of Kitchen or cooking utensils, to be agreed upon between my said wife and my executor hereinafter named and also a sufficiency of provisions for the term of one year from my decease also to be agreed upon between my wife and executor as aforesaid. Second. I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Ermantrout one hundred dollars. Third. I give and bequeath to my daughters Susan, Mary, and Sarah one cent each. Fourth. I give and bequeath all the rest of my estate share and share alike to my sons Jacob, Samuel, Benjamin, Christian, John, Henry, William, Joel and Daniel, and my daughter Phebe, wife of Reginald Butt and David Kinsey and lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint John Graybill Executor of this my last Will and testament and do hereby authorize and empower my said Executor to compromise, adjust, release, and discharge in such manner as he may deem proper in all matters of claims due by or from me, and I do further authorize and empower my said executor to sell and convey by deed or deeds in fee simple, and upon such terms of credit as he may judge best either at public or private sale all my lands situate in the state of Indiana being about two hundred acres, and I do further authorize and Empower my said Executor to sell and convey by deed in fee simple at public or private sale at such time as he shall judge best my home farm situate in Jefferson township Montgomery County, Ohio, being part of section number one. Also to sell all my personal property not herein given to my wife at public sale, collect the proceeds of sales made by him of real and personal property and distribute the same to my heirs as herein before directed. I also hereby revoke all former wills by me made. Witness my hand and seal this 24th day of February 1846.
