Courier, 3 Sept 1884
Died of malerial fever at his home in Pennsville, Morgan County, Wm. Milhouse, 
in his 73rd year.  He was buried yesterday.  The funeral was largely attended.  
The deceased was an old steamboat Captain, also Captain of Company C. First 
West Va. Infantry in the late war.  He made his home in this city for awhile, 
and had a host of friends whereever he was known.  J.M.W.
