Reproduction or re-presentation of copyrighted material will require the permission of the copyright owner. *************************************************************************** File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Susan Kellar Ratcliffe Delaware, Ohio skrat@midohio.net January 25, 1999 *************************************************************************** Obituary from THE MORGAN COUNTY HERALD, May 16, 1946: "Heart Trouble Fatal To Stanley Radcliff...Clifford Stanley (Chick) Radcliff, son of former county commissioner and Mrs. Fred Radcliff and popular proprietor of the Dinner Bell Restaurant, died in Bethesda Hospital (Zanesville, OH) at 9:15, Sunday morning (5-12-1946). Stricken with a sudden heart attack on April 11th, he did not improve, and his condition became so grave that week before death (that) he was removed to the hospital and placed under an oxygen tent. Born in Noble County, April 3, 1909, Mr. Radcliff came with his parents, Fred and Pearl Nichols Radcliff to Morgan County in 1919. He was married on April 18, 1931, to Miss Lula Belle Henderson, who survives with two sons, Jack and Jerry, of the home. Also surviving are the parents, the great-grandmother, Mrs. Anna Nichols of Caldwell; one sister, Mrs. S.A. McConnell; and two brothers, Guy and Fred Radcliff of McConnelsville. A son, Michael, died in infancy and a brother, Russell, died in 1919. He was a member of the Meigs Church of Christ....Burial was made in Malta Cemetery."
