Morrow County Sentinel
SARAH JANE EDWARDS, daughter of William and Jane Foye, was born October 24th,
1828, in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania and came to this county with her
parents in the autumn of 1841.  The deceased was married to her surviving
husband, John William Edwards, January 13, 1853.  With him she leaves two sons
and one daughter to mourn the loss of wife and mother.  The deceased was a
consistent member of the Baptist Church at Bryn Zion for over thirty years, and
was so esteemed at the time of her death.  She had for some time been afflicted
with heart disease, which suddenly terminated her life at an unknown hour Friday
morning, March 28, 1893, aged 61 years, 5 months and 4 days.  After appropriate
funeral services, conducted by her pastor, J. H. Julian, the remains were laid
to rest in the Bryn Zion Cemetery, to await the resurrection of the saints.
