Obituary, September 03. 1896, Morrow County Sentinel                        
Ohio

Martha Purdy was born August 21, 1885 died August 28, 1896, at 5:30 p.m., 
which was about the same hour that her sister, Rosa Randall, was buried.  
Although so young, she had given her heart to her Savior and was a devoted 
little christian.  During her sickness she prayed, "Lord help me bear my 
afflictions."  Seeing her mother shedding tears, she said:  "Don't cry, ma, I 
am better now,  I am trusting my Savior."  Little Martha is with Jesus and 
the two angel sisters who have so recently preceded her.
