BATEMAN, 85, of 951 Sevall St., died at 9:55 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 1991, at the Willow Haven Nursing Home. "Mr. BATEMAN spent most of his life in the Zanesville area and was a retired employee of Hupp Wilbert Vault Company. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge 302. "Born Sept. 14, 1905, in Nelsonville, he was a son of Robert and Rose BATEMAN. "Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Betty) SHAW of 39 E. King St., South Zanesville; one son, Russell E. BATEMAN Sr. of 2654 W. Ridgewood Circle; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. "He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian A. TOLBERT BATEMAN on Aug. 11, 1975, one son, Robert BATEMAN, one sister, Mary KESSINGER and one brother, Robert BATEMAN. "Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at the Bolin Funeral Home, where Eagles services will be held at 7 p.m. today."
