"He was born Oct. 7, 1898, in Monroe county, the son of Joshua and Nancy Dennis. "Prior to his illness he was employed for 32 years as a welder at the local Armco plant. "Surviving are his wife, Blanche; three sons, Charles of 921 Federal avenue, Lynn of Ridge road and Larry of the home; a step-son, Bernard Peyton of South Zanesville. A son, Robert, preceded him in death. "The body was removed to the William Thompson & Son funeral home at White Cottage. "The body will be returned to family home at noon today. Services will be held at the Norval Park Church of Christ at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning with Evangelist James Gallagher and Arthur Thomas officiating. Burial will lie in state for one hour."
