Flagg, 55, of Route 5, owner of the Adamsville Feed and Hardware Store, died at 2:58 a.m. Sunday in Bethesda Hospital where he had been a patient 10 weeks. He had been in ill health seven months. A native of Washington County, he was born May 28, 1904 to George and Samantha Shockley Flagg. He spent most of his life in the Zanesville area and was a member of the Euclid Avenue Methodist Church and Eagles Lodge 302. Mr. Flagg is survived by his widow, the former Virginia Reed of the home; a step-daughter, Mrs. Delbert Radcliffe of Boggs road; a brother Harry of Chicago; a sister, Mrs. Harriett Collins of Columbus; a half-sister, Mrs. Harry Turner of Dayton; and two step-grandsons. The body was removed to the Shirer and Sons Funeral Home at Adamsville where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday from the funeral home by the Rev. Leslie Vosey. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery near Sonora.
