Mrs. Harbert was born Oct. 14, 1878 in Harrison County, W. Va., a daughter of Morgan and Rebecca Pell Lodge and was the widow of George R. Harbert. He died July 9, 1959. She was a member of Bridgeport, W. Va. Methodist Church and had lived in the Zanesville area since 1915. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Flagg, housemother at the Bethesda Nurses residence, and Mrs. Blanche Gould of Columbus; two sons, Carl Harbert of Bell, Calif., and John of Mount Vernon; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter and two brothers, George Lodge of Bridgeport, W. Va. and Kelso of Phillipi, W. Va. The body was taken to Arthur Bryan Funeral Home, where friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Sunday. The Zanesville Times Recorder Sunday March 10, 1968 Services for Mrs. Kate Harbert, 89, of the old Airport road, who died Friday will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Arthur Bryan Funeral Home with Rev. Forest B. Willis of Sonora Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
