Mrs. Howell was born Jan. 5, 1896 in Muskingum County, a daughter of Theodore and Susie Dodson Snider and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of Kingdon Hall Jehovah's Witnesses on Pine street. Surviving are her husband, Dalton; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Eloise) VanMeter of Granville; a son, Thurman Hickman of Sebring, Fla.; four grandchidren; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Elizie (May) Lockrone of 1958 Norwood Boulevard. The body was taken to the Blue Avenue Chapel of the Bolin Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
