Moore, 62, of 835 Caldwell street, retired railroad worker, died at 5:45 a.m. Thursday (March 13) at Good Samaritan Hospital where he had been a patient for the past week. He had been in failing health for several years. He was born in Noble County, April 11, 1906, a son of Eli and Amanda Moore, but had lived in the Zanesville area for the past 45 years. Mr. Moore was a trackman for the B & O railroad for 37 years before his retirement. Surviving are his widow, Lena Oliver Moore and a daughter, Mrs. Lester (Virginia) Dunmead of 2270 Bonnair drive; one grandchild. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death. The body was taken to the DeLong and Baker Funeral Home where friends may call 7 to 9 today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
