The  Zanesville Signal March 1, 1941
Funeral services for James A. Oliver, 81, of near Norwich, will be conducted at
2 p.m. Monday at the New Hope Lutheran church, Adamsville followed by burial in
the church cemetery.

Mr. Oliver died at his home Saturday.  The body will remain at the Mock funeral
home, New Concord, until noon today at which time it will be removed to the home
of a son, John Oliver, Norwich.

Surviving are five sons; Wesley of Adamsville; John of Norwich; Edward of the
home; Willis and Charles of Sonora; four daughters, Mrs. Anna Orndorff, Norwich;
Mrs. Blanche McLean, Gilbert; Mrs. Lorena Darner, Adamsville; Mrs, Marie Edgell,
Parkersburg, W. Va; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
