LOCAL RESIDENT SUCCUMBS SUNDAY AT AGE OF 92
MRS. NANCY JANE ORNDORFF 1253 BLUFF STREET DIES AT HOME

Mrs. Nancy Jane Orndorff, 92 years old, widow of John T. Orndorff, died at 4:10
o'clock Sunday afternoon at her home, 1253 Bluff street, following a short
illness of infirmities.

She was well known in this city where she had spent most of her life.  She was a
member of the Salem M. E. church.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. S. G. Mercer of 1023 Linden avenue; Mrs. Z.
F. Myers and Mrs. John B. Myers both of Pope, Nebraska and Miss Olive of the
home; a son, C. S. Orndorff of Norwich; 24 grandchildren and 13
great-grandchildren.  A daughter died three years ago.

The body was taken to the Dean funeral home and will rest there until time for
funeral services which will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the Dean
Chapel, with Rev. Mr. Bay in charge.  Burial will be in the Norwich U. P. Cemetery.
