Zanesville Courier 2 Nov 1893

The death of Rev. W. M. Gilbreath occurred Tuesday noon, after an illness of 
four months, of Brights disease, at his residence on the Adamsville road. For 
thirty-five years, Rev. Gilbreath has been a highly respected resident of 
Muskingum county, having engaged in the ministry for about forty years. He has 
been for some time past an occassional correspondents of the COURIER and was 
well known to many Zanesville people who learn with regret of his death. Rev. 
Gilbreath has been engaged in the ministry for forty years, and was for twenty-
four years pastor to St. Paul's Lutheran church of Adamsville.
