The following is from the Zanesville Times Recorder, Sat., 9 Jul 1977; pg
5-A: Bernard R. Peyton 

"Bernard R. Peyton, 60, of 14 West Main St., South
Zanesville, died at 9:50 p.m. Thursday at Bethesda Hospital. "Born July 8,
1916, in Zanesville, he had been ill five years.  He was a former employee
of McGraw-Edison and a veteran of World War II. "Surviving are his widow,
Margaret Davis; a son, William R. of the home; and half-brothers, Lynn
Dennis of Ridge Rd., Larry Dennis of Highland Dr., and Charles Dennis of New
Concord. "Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Sunday at DeLong and Baker Funeral Home."
