Parsons on February 15, 1934 at the home of his sister, Mrs. C. H. Magness, 317 North Eight St, Coshocton, OH. Mr. Parsons was born in Zanesville Oct 9, 1855, son of William and Catherine Parsons. In 1877 he married Alice Harper, who now lives in Chicago. He was a member of the Zanesville Presbyterian Chruch. In addition to his wife and sister, Mr. Parsons is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Norwood Shearer, Columbus, OH, Mrs Claude Baker and Mrs. Bernard Fay, both of Chicago, IL and two grandchildren. One daugher died in infancy. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery at Zanesville. Mr. Parsons was an expert penman and former business college operator in Zanesville, Columbus and Cleveland.
