Sarbaugh, 81, died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Charles King, Adamsville Route 1, following a six week illness. he had been seriously ill for five days and had been making his home with the daughter. Mr. Sarbaugh was a retired farmer and formerly was employed as a custodian of the Canal Lewisville Methodist Church for 20 years. He was a member of the church. He was born on Dec. 26, 1886 near Adamsville, a son of Martin L. and Mercy Blair Sarbaugh. On May 6, 1914, he was married to Vera King, who died Oct. 19, 1963. He was a member of the Adamsville Masonic Lodge. Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Marion (Mildred) Haight, Coshocton, Mrs. Charles (Maxine) King, Adamsville Route 1, Mrs.Harold (Charlotte) Simmons, Smithfield and Mrs. Glenn (Wanda) Mason, Coshocton Route 5; one sister, Mrs. Martin Lauvray, Fresno Route 3; one brother, Grover C. Sarbaugh, Adamsville; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Beulah Tiedt, two sisters and six brothers are deceased. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Canal Lewisville Methodist Church with the Rev. Russell Hoy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Shirer and Son Funeral Home in Adamsville from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and at the church Saturday in Canal Lewisville for one hour prior to services.
