He was born May 3, 1878, the son of Martin and Mercy Blair Sarbaugh and had lived in Newark for 18 years. Mr. Sarbaugh worked for Owens Fiberglass Co. there. Surviving are his widow, Clara; three sons, Paul, Eugene and Clair, all of Adamsville; a step-daughter, Mrs. Ralph Wohlheter of West Lafayette; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Elma Osbon of Anderson, Ind. and Mrs. LaVerne Louvrey of Fresno, O; five brothers, Grover of Dresden, Curtis of Colfax, Ill., Harris and Russell of Cambridge and Albert of Zanesville. A member of the New Hope Lutheran church, Adamsville. Mr. Sarbaugh was a member of the Hubbard lodge F&AM and of the Fiberglass Club. Funeral services were held this morning at 10 o'clock at the Criss Brothers funeral home, Newark with Masonic services conducted by the lodge there. Burial will be in Wilson cemetery, Licking county. The body is at the funeral home.
