The Zanesville Times Recorder June 25, 1967
Mrs. Alice Leona Thompson, 57, of 407 La Salle street, died at 4:25 p.m.
Saturday (June 24) at Good Samaritan Hospital after a six year illness.

A native of Byesville, she was born Jully 13, 1909, a daughter of Mrs. Rosa
Howell Dawson of 403 La Salle street and the late John Dawson, Sr.

Mrs. Thompson retired in 1961 after having been employed for 21 years by the
Hazel-Atlas Glass Company.  She attended Cumberland Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband, William; two grandchildren, a sister, Miss
Anna Dawson of 47 1/2 North Fifth street; and three brothers, Samuel and Marion
Dawson both of Route 8 and John DAwson, Jr. of Chandlersville road.  A son. John
E. Estep, died June 1.  A brother also preceded her in death.

The body was taken to Blue Avenue Chapel of Bolin Funeral Home where friends may
call 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.

Services for Mrs. Alice Leona Thompson, 57, of 407 LaSalle street, who died
Saturday will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Blue Avenue Chapel of Bolin
Funeral Home with Pastor James Mason officiating.

Burial will be in Cumberland Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 today.
