Second, I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Rebecca West in lieu of her dower the plantation on which we now reside, situate in the Township of Rich Hill County of Muskingum and State of Ohio, containing about one hundred and nineteen acres, during her natural life, and all the live stock horses cattle sheep and hogs by me now owned and kept thereon, also all the household furniture and other items not particularly named and otherwise disposed of in this will, during her natural life as afore said; She however first disposing of a sufficiency thereof to pay my just debts as aforesaid. And that at the death of my said wife all the property hereby devised or bequeathed to her as aforesaid or so much thereof as may then remain unexpended, to my seven sons, Leander L. West, Mortimore West, Turner O. West, Lee West, Jacob Gillmore West, Westley West, William L. West, and my four daughters, Amanda Humphrey, Sarah Warne, Caroline West, Martha Ann West. Third, I give and devise to my eldest son Leander L. West one half quarter or eighty acres of land laying adjoining a tract of land that he the said Leander now owns in the County of Jackson and State of Ohio and to his heirs and assigns forever. Fourth, I give and devise to my second son Mortimore West the farm on which he now lives or occupies situate in Meigs Township Muskingum County and State of Ohio containing eighty acres more or less and to his heirs and assigns forever. Fifth, I give and devise to my third son Turner O. West the farm on which he now resides in the Township of Meigs County of Muskingum and State of Ohio containing eighty acres more or less, and to his heirs and assigns forever. Sixth, I give and devise to my fourth son Lee West two eighty acre lots or tracts of land laying adjoining, situate in Jackson County State of Ohio containing one hundred and sixty acres more or less, and to his heirs and assigns forever. Seventh, I give and devise to my three following named sons, Jacob Gillmore West, Wesley West, and William L. West, each seven hundred dollar or twenty-one hundred dollars to be equally divided among the three last named sons, the money to be got by selling the farm on which I now reside situate as afore described in the Township of Rich Hill Muskingum County State of Ohio after the death as aforesaid of my wife Rebecca, and to their heirs and assigns forever. Eight, the four last named sons, to wit, Lee West, Jacob Gillmore West, Westley West and William L. West I give and devise to each in addition to that above devised and given a flitting or setting out in goods and chattles equal in amount to that given to my three elder sons each. Ninth, I give and devise to my daughters Caroline West and Martha Ann West each a flitting or setting out in goods and chattles equal in value to the flitting or setting out given to my two elder daughters each. Tenth, I give and devise to Turner O. West, Lee West, Jacob Gillmore West, Westley West, William L. West and my two grandsons William Lee West eldest son of Leander West and William West eldest son of Mortimore West , the two grandsons fifty dollars each to be paid out of the proceeds of the sale of the farm which I now occupy as afore described after paying the twenty-one hundred dollars as heretofore provided; and the balance of the proceeds of the sale of the said last mentioned farm to be equally divided among my five last named sons, that is, Turner O. West, Lee West, Jacob Gillmore West, Westley, William L. West and their heirs and assigns forever. Eleventh, I give and devise to my four daughters Amanda Humphrey, Sarah Warne, Caroline West and Martha Ann West in addition to what I have heretofore given and devised, the proceeds of the sale of all my personal property after paying all my just debts, to be equally divided amongst the four said daughters. And lastly, I hereby constitute and appoint my said wife Rebecca West and my son Leander L. West to be the executors for this, my last will and testament, revoking and annulling all former wills by me made and ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament.
