Cox Wilkin Recd. and Jacob P Springer Associate Judges of Said Court. The last will and testament of Alexander Wilson late of said County deceased was produced in open Court and duly proved by the oaths of Daniel McLane and John Bell the two attesting and subscribing witnesses thereto, whose testimony in such behalf was reduced to writing and duly filed. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court from the said testimony that the said testator Alexander Wilson, deceased was, at the time of executing his said last will and testament of full age of sound mind and memory and not under any restraint it was ordered that the said last will and testament and the same hereby admited to probate and that the same together with the said testimony and this entry of probate be recorded. Will - Know all men by these presents that I Alexander wilson of Muskingum County and State of Ohio do make ordain and confirm this my last will and testament in manner and form following ?. 1st. It is my will that all my lawfull debts and funeral expenses be fully paid. 2. I give to my beloved wife Elizabeth Wilson in lieu of her dower the right, so long as she remains my widow) to occupy the house that we now live in together with all the household furniture thereto belonging except as specified below also all the farming utensils now owned by me and the one third of the proceeds of my real estate during her natural life, in adddition I give to her one hundred dollars out of monies arising from the sale of personal property belonging to me to be used by her for her benefit and benefit of my three youngest sons also three head of horses ? the old bay mare & young brown mare and colt and four head of milch cows and three head of young cattlealso ? ? head of sheep. 3rd. I give and bequeath to my oldest son Mathew wilson seven hudred and fifty dollars to be paid to him out of the monies that may be due to my estate at the time of my demise. 4th I give and devise to my second son William Wilson five hudred dollars to be paid to him out of the monies that may be ? to my estate at the time of my demise. 5th I give and devise to my three daughters Sarah Jane Ousler, Martha McCune and Elizabeth Wilson, all the balance of monies notes and credits that shall be due to me at the time of my deceased together with all monies that may arise from the sale of personal property of which I am now Posessed which monies shall be divided among the persons above named that Martha McCune shall have twenty five dollars more than Sarah Jane Ousler and Elizabeth Wilson shall have have forty dollars more than the said Sarah Jane Ousler also I give to the said Elizabeth Wilson one Milch cow and one bed and bedding. 6th I give bequeath and devise to my three youngest sons? James Wilson, Alexander Wilson and Thomas Crawford Wilson the farm or tract of land now ? and occupied by me lying and being in Highland Township Muskingum County and State of Ohio each to have an equal interst in ? in the ? and to have and to hold said tract of land in fee simple ever ? however to the ? herein after specified. 7th. I give and bequeath to my youngest daughter Margaret Ann Wilson five hundred dollars which will be due her at the age of eighteen years is to be paid to her by my three sons - James Wilson, Alexander Wilson, Thomas Crawford Wilson to whom I have bequeathed my real estate. 8th. I do hereby nominate and appoint William Weylie & Thomas S? exector of this my last will and testament. I do hereby revoke all former wills by me made. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of August in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty.
