He read law under Jabez Belford, and practiced in Sharon from about 1848 until 1854. Soon after this date we find him at Sarahsville, editing a Democratic paper. He was self-educated and of good ability. He is now a Presbyterian minister, residing somewhere in Pennsylvania. History of Noble County, Ohio Published by L.H.
