Heirs of William Wilson
Court of Probate holden in the County of Noble and State of Ohio at the Town 
of Sarahsville on the 5th day of January 1856 before D.F. Sanford, Judge of 
Said Court
William Wilson’s heirs
This day appeared in Court William Philpot Wilson aged Sixteen years on the 
fourteenth day of July AD 1856 orphan son of William Wilson late of Marion 
Township in said County deceased and in open court made choice of S.B. Philpot 
for his Guardian and the Court approving the choice it is ordered that the 
said S.B. Philpot be appointed such guardian accordingly and it is further 
ordered that the said S.B. Philpot be also appointed Guardian to Erasmus 
Wilson aged Thirteen years on the seventh day of November AD 1856 and Ruth Ann 
Wilson aged Eleven years in December AD 1855 other orphan children of the said 
William Wilson deceased.  And it is further ordered that said Guardian give 
separate bonds in the sum of Sixteen hundred dollars each with Charles Hare as 
surety conditioned according to law and thereupon the said S.B. Philpot 
appeared in open court and accepted said appointment and gave bond accordingly.
