Tilton--- Know all men by these present that I Michael KELLAR of the County of Noble in the state of Ohio in consideration of the sum of Four Thousand Dollars in hand paid by Joseph C. TILTON of the City of Pittsburgh in the State of Pennsylvania have languished and sold and do hereby grant and convey assets to the said Joseph C. Tilton his heirs and assigns forever the following premises situate [sic] in the County of Noble in the State of Ohio to wit The West half of the South West Quarter of Section Ten (10) in Township, Six (6), Range Nine (9) in the District of land subject to sale at Zanesville, Ohio except therefore so much as his South of the County Road heretofore conveyed by said Michael Kellar and Nancy Kellar his wife now deceased to Harrison Kellar by deed received in Record of Deeds for Noble county, Ohio Volume Five (5) Page 555 and 586 containing Eighteen acres more or less, except also one acre more or less where The Graveyard now is for burial purposes commencing at a ! point supposed to be Sixty four Rods South of South East Corner of said half Quarter Section Thence West Thirteen Rods thence south thirteen rods hence East thirteen rods to the east line of said half Quarter Section Hence North with line to the place of beginning to include the graves now on said premises and the point of ground now fenced as a burial ground Deeded to Olive Township Noble County Ohio to have and hold said premises the appurtenances unto the said Joseph C. Tilton his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Michael Kellar for himself and heirs doth hereby covenant with the said Joseph C. Tilton his heirs and assigns that he is lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid that the premises are free and clear from all encumbrances whatsoever and that he will forever warrant and defend the said with the appurtenances to the said Joseph C. Tilton his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whosoever.
