He was the son of Audibon Orin & Blanch Josephine (Allen) Pickingpaugh. (All three spellings are as used). Cary m. 3/29/1930, Helen Miller Dallas, b. 2/25/1914, Carlisle, KY, d. 10/31/1975, McConnelsville, Morgan County, Ohio, Daughter of Earl & Emma (King) Dallas Cary passed away October 1, 1998 at the ICU at Good. Sam. Hospital., Zanesville, Ohio, he was at the Marks Rest Center from March, 1998, until his death. Cary was best known as the MORGAN COUNTY MAYTAG MAN for almost 50 years. He grew up in Duncan Falls, Muskingum County, Ohio, where he attended the Elliot school, near the McDonald's store, both are now gone. As a youth he attended the Sugar Grove Methodest church, was a life-time member of the Eagles club of McConnelsville and attended the Grace Methodest Church. He was 89 years old. The body may be viewed at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, Morgan Co., OH on Saturday, 10/3/1998 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM, Eagle services will be held at 8:00PM. Services conducted by Rev. William Bill Pickenpaugh of Quaker City. The funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00PM at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home and a grave side service will be held afterwards at the cemetery at Hoskinsville, Noble County, Ohio Cary is at rest beside his wife Helen at Reagan Chapel Cemetery, Hoskinsville, Noble County, Ohio This cemetery also is the resting place for Cary's Grandparents, John Merriman Pickinpaugh and His wife Minerva (James) and his G-Grandparents, George Washington Pickinpaugh and his wife Mary (Pidcock).
