"Aunt Lizzie" as she was lovingly called by relatives and friends far and near, had reached her ninetieth birthday the 24th of last August, and although in failing health, was able to go to the table to eat supper with the family on the evening a little while before she died. Her husband preceded her to the beyond a number of years ago. She was the mother of fourteen children, six of whom live to mourn the death of a good and loving mother. They are Philip, of the family home; Peter, of Harrietsville; William, of Lower Salem; Mrs. Phoebe Beardmore, of Warner; Mrs. Lena McPeek, of Lebanon; and Mrs. Mary Glober, of West Virginia. She was a life long member of the Lutheran Church, and having lived a beautiful, useful life, has gone to her reward. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran Church. Interment was made in the Lutheran Cemetery. [Died 23 Jan 1914]
