EPHRAIM--- On last Thursday, June 20, 1907, about forty invited guests assembled at the home of Dr. John Keller, of Mt. Ephraim, O. to witness the marriage of his daughter, Miss Arthella Belle, to Mr. Reeland I. (Roland S.) Conner, of Cumberland, O. The day was beautiful and as we gathered together at this beautiful and hospitable home and met kind friends and the fragrance of June flowers, we all felt fortunate to be there. Promptly at high noon Mr. Conner and Miss Keller were led into the presence of the guests by the Rev. B.L. George, pastor of the M.E. church, of Cumberland, who performed the impressive and divine ceremony making the above named husband and wife and then introduced Mr. and Mrs. Conner. After congratulations came the wedding feast which the guests considered one of the finest they had ever seen. It consisted of a three-course dinner---the choicest fruits and viands, turkey, cake, ice cream, et. In all, 51 plates were set. After dinner the guests repaired to the verandah....(illegible)...spent in a delightful social manner, each one feeling at home and happiness reigned supreme. The bride received many useful and beautiful presents. In the evening the sound of music was heard in the distant part of town and a few.....(illegible)... the Mt. Ephraim cornet band came marching to the home of Dr. Keller, and appearing upon the lawn serenaded the bride and groom with several pieces of music which was much appreciated by all present, and were presented with a handsome sum of money by the groom. A few minutes later came the ladies of the town en masse to pay honors and congratulation their true and loving friend, Belle. After this the ladies were treated by the bride, and at 10 o'clock we all departed to our homes. She is a member of the M.E. church at this place, has been leader of the choir for several years and has served as SS superintendent and teacher. She has been the efficient clerk in the store of H.C. Gibson & Son and is widely known in the community. The groom is a prominent farmer of Cumberland, owning a large farm south of town, a member of the Presbyterian church at that place and an industrious, upright and respected gentleman. Those attending the wedding from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. John W. Keller and...(illegible)...of Senacaville; Mr. and Mrs. J.W.
