Record of the Will of Daniel Bates.
  In name of the Benevolent Father of All, I Daniel Bates do make and publish 
this as my last Will and testament.
First.  I give to my son Robert all the household goods of every kind or 
description about my house and also one two horse wagon and any other farming 
utensils I may have about the farm and all the rent of the 30 acres of land I 
now occupy and the apples in the orchard.
Dated March 25th 1889.
Daniel (his X mark) Bates
Signed and acknowledged by said Daniel Bates as his last will and testament in 
our presence and signed by us I his presence.
