Item 1st. It is my Will that all my just debts including funeral expenses and cost of administering my estate be first paid out of my personal Estate and that the residue therefrom including all moneys and credits and personal property of every king and description be equally divided among my four daughters namely Rachel Wilson, Matilda Joseph, Mary A. Danford and Rosanah Vorhies. Item 2nd. I give and devise to my daughter Mary A. Danford for and during the period of her natural life the north East quarter of the North East Quarter of section six “6” in township Seven “7 of Range nine “9” in the Township of Noble County of Noble and State of Ohio and supposed to contain forty four acres, and at her death said lands to pass and vest in fee simple in two of my grand daughters being children of said Mary A. Danford namely Arizona R. Danford and Oseola Danford each in equal proportions, and should either of one of said grand daughters die prior to her mother then the survivor is to have all of said lands in fee Simple at the death of said Mary A. Danford and should both of said Grand daughters die Prior to the decease of their said Mother then said land is to pass and vest in fee simple in my four daughters subject to the life Estate of said Mary A. Danford & in equal proportions to wit – Rachel Wilson, Matilda Josephs, Mary A. Danford and Rosanah Vorhies. Item 3rd. I give and devise to my three daughters namely Rachel Wilson, Matilda Joseph and Rosanah Vorhies in fee simple in equal proportions to each the following described Real estate situate in the county of Shelby and State of Iowa and described as follows to wit the south east quarter of section four”4” in Township Eighty one “81” North of Range Thirty Eight “38” West. Item 4th. I give and devise to my Grand son Taylor Joseph the following premises in fee simple situate in the county of Noble and State of Ohio and described as follows to wit – All of the West half of the North East quarter of Section Six “6” in Township Seven “7” of Range nine “9” except about thirty two acres owned by Josiah Neswanger off the South end, Also I give and devise to said Taylor Joseph in fee simple the south West quarter of the South East quarter of Section Thirty one “31” in Township eight “8” of Range nine “9” in the county of Noble and State of Ohio. The first described piece being in Noble Township and the latter in Buffalo township. Item 5th. I do hereby nominate and appoint Josiah Neswanger executor of this my last will and Testament I hereby revoke all former Wills by me made. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and set this 29th day of May in the year 1871.
