Donald W. Smith
   Donald W. Smith, 89, of Columbus (formerly of Pricetown), died Saturday, May 
9, 1998, at the Bristol House in Columbus.
   He was born May 12, 1908, in Hillsboro, the some of William C. and Alice F. 
(Brown) Smith.
   He was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War II.
   He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David and Maxine Smith of 
Treasure Island, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Aaron W. Smith and Elizabeth L. 
Turner, both of Atlanta, Ga.
   Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Davis-Turner 
Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Larry Herdman will officiate. Burial will be in the 
Barker Cemetery in Pricetown. There will be no visitation.
