Marion S. Firman
   Marion S. Firman, 79, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, May 30, 1998, at Oakland 
Nrusing Center, Hillsboro.
   Born Aug. 28, 1918, in Wilmington, he was the son of Seldon W. Firman and 
Bertha (Gilliland) Firman.
   Mr. Firman was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Firman.
   He is survived by a brother, Don Firman of Enon.
   Graveside services will be today, 4 p.m., at the New Market Baptist Cemetery. 
Brother Virgil Tackett will officiate. Burial will follow at the cemetery. There 
will be no visitation.
   Arrangements are under the direction of Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home.
