Wendell Fryer
  Wendell Fryer, 85, of Greenfield, died April 26, 1998, at the Greenfield Area 
Medical Center, Greenfield.
  Born Feb. 10, 1913, in Ripley, Brown County, he was the son of William Fryer 
and Carrie Mae (Stevenson) Fryer.
  He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Elizabeth (Cartwright) Fryer; two sons, 
Wendell F. Fryer Jr. of Findlay and James R. Fryer of Washington C.H.; 12 
grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
  He was preceded in death by his parents.
  A member of the Old Antique Car Club of Greenfield, he was retired from Metco 
Tool Company.
  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Murray Funeral Home, 
Greenfield, with Rev. Robert K. Blaine officiating. Burial will follow in the 
Greenfield Cemetery, Greenfield. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the 
funeral home.
  Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
