John E. Gillespie
   John E. Gillespie, 82, of Peebles, died Tuesday, March 24, 1998, at his 
residence.
   He was born June 7, 1915, at Hillsboro, the some of Bill and Cora (Setty) 
Gillespie.
   Memorial services will be held today at 11 a.m. at the Brooke-Lafferty-
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with the Rev. Phil Fulton officiating. 
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.
