Linn Gray, 85, of Leesburg, died Sunday, March 8, 1998, at Highland District Hospital. He was born May 19, 1912, near Hillsboro, the son of Earl and Ruth (Linn) Gray. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, Mabel (Freeze) Gray, to whom he was married July 17, 1934; and three daughters, Doris (Zach) DeHart of Pataskala, Shirley (late James) Unger of Peebles and Norma (Richard) Edwards of Leesburg. Also surviving are one sister, Mary Butler of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren, Brian and Bruce DeHart, Sandy Bailey, Jimmy, Bret and Jeff Unger, Renita Edwards and Rhonda Wise; and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Leesburg United Methodist Church where the Rev. Charles Jenkins and Pastor Aaron Brown will co-officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Leesburg. Friends may call at the church today from 4-8 p.m. The Turner Funeral Home of Leesburg is serving the family. If desired, memorials may be made in Mr. Gray's name to the Leesburg Area Life Squad.
