Parker, 93, of Winchester, died Monday, March 16, 1998, at the Meadows View Regional Hospital in Maysville, Ky. She was born Aug. 3, 1904, in Brown County, the daughter of the late Walter Scott Finch. She was a member of the Bethlehem Church of Christ. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Parker, in 1976; a step-son, Wayne Parker; a step-daughter, Eleanor Bope; a niece, Mildred Pitzer; and a sister, Ruby Carl. She is survived by three step-sons, Wendall (Dorothy) Parker of West Union, Leo (Audrey) Parker of Decatur and Larry Bender of Florida; step-son-in-law, Frank Bope of Columbus; step-daughter, Louise Foster of West Union; step-daughter-in-law, Nolene Parker of Circleville; sister, Nellie Kirkpatrick of Hillsboro; 16 step-grandchildren, several step-great-grandchildren and several great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Tom Claibourne officiating. Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
