W.L. Parshall
   W.L. "Leonard" Parshall, 83, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, May 26, 1998, at the 
Wilmington Health Care Center, Wilmington.
   Born Feb. 5, 1915, in New Market, he was the son of William Harvey Parshall and Lida 
Mae (Harvey) Parshall.
   Mr. Parshall was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Parshall; two daughters, Doris 
Jean Edgington and Marilyn Parshall; four sisters, Iva Lucas, Bertha Davis, Thelma Mae 
Brock McClellan and Jean Trout; and two brothers, Heber Parshall and Lewis Parshall.
   He is survived by two sons, Paul "Bud" Parshall of Hillsboro and Larry Parshall of 
Parma; a daughter, Barbara Bowling of Hillsboro; two brothers, Oscar Parshall of 
Hillsboro and Erwin Parshall of Hillsboro; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 
three step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; a special friend, Iona Priest of 
Greenfield; one sister-in-law, Edna Patton of Hillsboro; and two brothers-in-law, Charles 
"Pat" Patton of Tennessee and John McClellan of Martinsville.
   Funeral services will be held at the Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, on 
Friday at 2 p.m.
   Marvin Wilson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Marshall Cemetery. Visitation 
will be held Thursday, 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
   Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity in Mr. Parshall's name.
