Mason kkmason@shianet.org June 6, 2000 *********************************************************************** Times-Gazette May 6, 1998 Eva Pitts Eva Pitts, 45, of the Carmel community, died Saturday, May 2, 1998, at her home. She was born April 19, 1953, in Rensselaer, Ind, the daughter of Homer and Mary (Bailey) Wireman, both survive her and reside in the Carmel community. Other survivors include her son, Stephen Pitts, who lives at home; three brothers, E.J. and Jimmy Wireman, both of Wheatfield, Ind., and Ollie Wireman of Sand Pier, Ind.; and three sisters, Ethel Mae Campbell of Medaryville, Ind., Margie Gill of Logansport, Ind., and Linda Pitts of the Carmel community. Also surviving are two uncles. She was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Wireman. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Carmel United Methodist Church on state Route 753 where Brother Jeff Griffin will officiate. Burial will be in the Cynthiana Cemetery at Cynthiana. Friends may call at the church today from 4 to 8 p.m. The Turner & Son Funeral Home of Hillsboro is serving the family.
