Hester Elaine Scott
   Hester Elaine Scott, age 52, of Greenfield, died at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, 
June 5, 1998 at her residence. She was born December 30, 1945 in Adams County 
the daughter of Charles Frank and Katherine (Glaze) Adams. She was a registered 
nurse and the Director of Nursing at Hillcrest Manor.
   She is survived by her husband, Douglas Ric Scott whom she married September 
8, 1975; four daughters, Lanna D. Morales of Greenfield, Katrina E. Kniesley of 
Greenfield, Sha M. Willet of Greenfield, and Eliza J. Scott of Greenfield; a 
son, Cody Scott and his wife, Tiffany, of Greenfield; four grandchildren, Zach, 
Dylan, Morgan, and Allison; a step-daughter, Shira Dowling of Annapolis,  
Maryland; and seven brothers, Howard Adams of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Roland Adams 
of Greenfield, Don Adams of Greenfield, Gary Adams of Hillsboro,  Farrell Adams 
of Hillsboro, and Darrell Adams of Nashville, Tennessee.
   She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Danna Lee Stratton; two 
sisters,  Marcie K. Howland and Sharon Adams; and a sister-in-law, Cathy Adams.
   The funeral will be at 2: p.m. Monday, June 8, 1998 at Murray Funeral Home. 
The burial will follow in the South Salem Cemetery. Friends may visit from 4:00 
to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 7.
