Nona Underwood
   Nona Underwood, 88, of Greenfield, died Friday, May 22, 1998, at the Leigh 
Lane Care Center of Greenfield where she had been a patient for two years.
   She was born on Feb. 14, 1910, in Washington C.H. to Calvin and Elizabeth 
(Dowler) Peters.
   She had lived several years in the Fayette and Ross County area.
   She was preceded in death by her parents' her husband, Robert Underwood; one 
daughter, Brenda Underwood; three brothers, one sister and one half-sister.
   She is survived by one son, Garry Underwood of Lyndon.
   The graveside service will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Good Hope 
Cemetery for burial of the cremains with the Rev. Neil Matson officiating.
   There will be no viewing. Arrangements are under the direction of the Summers 
Funeral Home of Washington C.H.
