Oval D. Yankee
   Oval D. Yankee, 97, formerly of Greenfield, died Friday, June 5, 1998, at 
Heathergreen Nursing Home, Xenia.
   Born Sept. 12, 1900, at Adams County, he was the son of Andrew and Mary 
(Douglas) Yankee.
   He was retired from American Pad & Textile Co., Greenfield.
   He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his wife, Icie D. "Bonnie" Carrigan; two brothers 
and three sisters.
   Graveside service will be at the Greenfield Cemetery Monday, 2 p.m., with 
Keith Short officiating. Calling hours will not be observed.
   Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home, Greenfield, is serving the family.
