"Bud" Haynes, 75, of Kincaid Rd., Hillsboro, Ohio, died at 2 p.m. Monday, April 6, 1998 at his home. Born Oct. 17, 1922 in Columbus, he was the son of Dewey L. and Mabel (Burlile) Haynes. Formerly of Washington C.H., he had lived in Hillsboro the past three years. He was a member of the Evangelical Church of Christ in Christian Union in Hillsboro, a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and was retired from Armco. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Haynes; a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel L. and Cheryl Haynes of Washington C.H.; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley A. and Michael Prickett of New Vienna; a sister, Evelyn Lynch McCoy of Washington C.H.; two grandchildren, Scott Michael Haynes and Kelly Haynes Snively, both of Washington C.H.; and one great-granddaughter, Samantha J. Snively of Washington C.H. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Morrow Funeral Home in Washington C.H. with the Rev. John Laufer officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
