Loris M. Karnes
   Loris Marie Karnes (Moon), 68, of Lebanon, Ohio died Thursday May 14, 1998.
   Born in Greenfield, Ohio on September 11, 1929 to John and Pauline (Dowell) Moon. 
She worked as a sales clerk for Federated Department Stores for 18 years before retiring 
in 1980.
   She attended the Lebanon Presbyterian Church.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Karnes in 1996; and a brother, 
Clarence Moon. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Kathy Ely of 
Centerville; and John and Karen Karnes of Lebanon; one daughter, Diane Ely of 
Greenfield; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
   Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Monday, with funeral services 10 a.m. Tuesday, all at the 
Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home in Lebanon. Interment will follow in Miami Valley 
Memory Gardens in Centerville, Ohio. The Rev. William Cain officiates. Memorials
