Kildow Raymond Norman Kildow Sr., 82, died March 2, 1998, at Rose Vista Nursing Center in Vancouver, Wash. Born Sept. 12, 1915, in Cleveland, he was the youngest son of Joseph A. and Frances Howarda Kildow. He was a farmer in Highland County for 24 years, and a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Army-Air Force. He moved to Tucson, Ariz., in 1956, where he was an auto mechanic until his retirement in 1984. He was preceded in death by his wife Sarah Winifred Terrell Kildow in 1981 and daughter Priscilla Jean Gaynor Harris in 1996. He is survived by three sons, Joseph Howard Kildow and wife, Linda, of Portsmouth, William F. Kildow and wife, Joan, of Lancaster, Calif., and Raymond N. Kildow Jr. and wife, Nancy, of Boulder City, Nev.; one daughter Sara Jane McMann and husband, Bob, of Vancouver, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. There will be a private memorial service at South Lawn Cemetery in Tucson, Ariz. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 371, Vancouver, WA 98666.
