Ida E. Kuhns
   Ida E. Kuhns, 89, of Hillsboro, formerly of Greenfield, died Wednesday, April 8, 1998, 
at Highland District Hospital, Hillsboro.
   Born May 16, 1908, in Fayette County, she was the daughter of Horatio G. Waln and 
Launa C. (Simmons) Waln.
   She is survived by a brother, Wendall Waln of Leesburg, and several nieces and 
nephews.
   A retired nurse, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marine Kuhns, on Feb. 8, 
1973; four brothers and four sisters.
   Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Whiteoak Cemetery, 
Fayette County. The Rev. Robert Carroll will officiate.
   Arrangements are by Murray Funeral Home, Greenfield.
